Product engineering
Take ambiguous product problems from early requirements through architecture, implementation, release, iteration, and long-term ownership.
I’m Fernando, a software engineer.
I own customer-facing software across web, mobile, backend, payments, data, and integrations, from early product decisions through implementation, release, and production support.
6+ years · 125k+ platform users · 15+ production launches · 4 independently shipped products
Products and production systems spanning payments, commerce, inventory, marketplaces, web, mobile, and backend infrastructure.
Production platform serving 125k+ users across payments, reservations, marketplace workflows, APIs, customer integrations, and 15+ production application launches. I’ve helped grow the platform from a single-customer product into a shared system supporting 10+ organizations, while owning features across mobile, web, backend, payments, data, and external systems.
Offline-first sales and inventory product built around transactional data, product management, sales workflows, and multi-device synchronization. Designed and shipped independently with an emphasis on keeping core business workflows reliable even when connectivity is poor or unavailable.
Full-stack SaaS for branded client delivery, built with Next.js and Supabase. Includes multi-tenant routing, Google Drive synchronization, access controls, custom domains, server-side workflows, and production deployment on Vercel.
Native iOS expense product taken from idea to App Store, with local-first data, backend services, subscriptions, widgets, and focused AI features. Designed, built, and released independently.

The product and engineering work behind software that has to keep working once real users, transactions, and external systems are involved.
Take ambiguous product problems from early requirements through architecture, implementation, release, iteration, and long-term ownership.
Build payment flows, reservations, subscriptions, marketplaces, inventory systems, credits, coupons, and other workflows where correctness directly affects users and businesses.
Connect frontend, backend, data, mobile platforms, payment providers, customer systems, and third-party APIs into products that behave like one coherent system.
Own testing, accessibility, CI/CD, observability, migrations, releases, production debugging, and the work required to ship quickly without treating reliability as an afterthought.
Six years building and shipping customer-facing products across mobile, web, backend, payments, data, and integrations.

Product Engineering, Platform & Integrations
Helped scale ParkZen from one customer to 10+ customer organizations and 125k+ platform users, owning product work across Flutter, React, TypeScript APIs, SQL and NoSQL data, payments, native mobile systems, and third-party integrations.
Delivered major systems end to end from loosely defined requirements through architecture, implementation, testing, rollout, and production support.
Projects include a parking marketplace spanning web and mobile, payment infrastructure supporting multiple providers and transaction types, parking reservations and auto-pay workflows, customer integrations, parking detection, App Clips, automotive interfaces, and embedded application experiences.
Helped migrate fragmented payment workflows into a centralized TypeScript API while preserving existing production behavior across customer applications.
Manage configuration, QA, and releases across 15+ customer-branded apps. Review pull requests and mentor a new engineer through onboarding, technical documentation, task planning, and implementation guidance.
May 2023–Nov 2023
Led a team of four developers building a food-delivery product across Flutter, web, backend services, and Google Cloud systems.
Provided technical direction, reviewed implementation work, helped structure the product, and contributed directly to the codebase.
Nov 2022–May 2023
Restructured and extended an existing product across mobile, backend, payments, and data.
Built automated invoice generation, QuickBooks-compatible accounting workflows, authentication and product flows, and advanced SQL operations.
Jun 2020–Nov 2022
Built a 50+ screen product spanning authentication, user profiles, networking features, chat, databases, payments, and the complete mobile experience.
Combined software engineering with economics, finance, quantitative analysis, and business strategy.

I’m interested in engineering roles where I can move quickly, take meaningful product work from idea to production, and stay responsible for how it performs once real users depend on it.
